Uta Eisenreich

Mono-Prints made by Uta Eisenreich in collaboration with Jaan Evaart

This series of mono-prints by Uta Eisenreich were made for the exhibition A Play at Ellen de Bruijne PROJECTS. The unique prints are strongly related to her performance Things on a Table and, her recently launched book A Play. As in both her book and the performance, the starting point in these mono-prints is Gertrude Stein’s modernist text 'Objects Lie on a Table' from 1922. The text breaks language and viewpoints on objects apart to form new compositions.

Every print is a unique hand made piece where the mono-print technique is combined with vinyl lettering. The artworks have a dimension of 71.5 x 45.5 cm, and are produced by Uta Eisenreich in collaboration with graphic designer Jaan Evaart.
