Bernadette, the Pyrenean visionnary, once see and hear an invisible and religious Something which encourages her to look for the Truth about the origins of Humanity inside a deep cave instead of taking its apparition as a response. That’s when a strange crowd poped up on her way in the grotto and made her path a real ode to the social studies.
The film represents a “trip”, moving from the exterior to the interior world, from one field of knowledge to a second. The artist also defines it as a passage from one jouissance to another, from one sexual being to another, and in its entirety ambidextrous—as the Platonic myth moves from reasoning in the head to a nestling in the lower abdomen and back again, passing through the cavities of the body as a body might traverse the galleries of a cave.
